GENERAL CONSTRUCTION CARPENTER

Reliance is a family-owned custom home builder and renovator located in Nappanee, Indiana and we are looking to add a member to our team! Our focus is on quality craftsmanship and fine detail.

We are seeking an experienced carpenter that can handle tasks ranging from framing, roofing, siding, and finish carpentry. We have a full-time position we are looking to fill immediately.

Minimum Qualifications

·      Minimum three years of experience required; 5+ preferred.

·      Ability to comprehend and follow specific instructions.

·      Physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting      (more than 50 lbs.).

·      Current and valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

·      Works cooperatively with other team members to accomplish tasks.

·      Maintains the work area(s) in a clean and orderly manner on a continuous basis.

·      Consistently reports for work on time and in approved attire.

·      Proactively assists in creating lists of materials, supplies, specialty tools, and equipment that are needed to perform the work.

·      Informs the Project Manager of any material, supply, or other shortages on the job in a timely manner.

Paid holidays, paid time off, insurance benefits, IRA, and 40+ hours per week.  Pay is commensurate with knowledge and experience.
